A belated wish and condolence..

I have been too busy these days..Its EID !! 🙂 i wish all my readers belated Eid Greetings..Hope all you spent your day in peace..My day started at 4.30 am and it was a great feeling to participate in Eid Prayer where nearly a thousand people had come. The sermon by the imam(a malayali) was an impressing and heartfelt one..Throughout the 15-20 minutes speech,he was stressing over need for interfaith bonding, peace and harmony..He urged all of us to make conscious effort in making and maintaining relationships with all people in society, irrespective of caste, colour and creed..He seemed like a typical so called mullah who has nothing but communal to speak about, but in the end,his words were so wise and full of wisdom, that he proved my stereotyping all all imams and scholars as radical and conservative was proved wrong..I hope his message reaches out to the whole community..The rest of eid celebrations ended with having a full load biriyani ,a long sleep and some shopping.I am busy eating out at my uncles homes that my kitchen is asleep since two days..Tomorrow also,we have been invited for a party 😉

I hardly had any time to read news..Still the news of 147 dead in temple stampede in Jodhpur was a heartfelt one and kept haunting me..Its too sad that this happened to people who went on a pilgrimage..I recall such happenings that happen during Hajj..There is lot of money and effort spent on Hajj piligrimage by Saudi government..Still accidents happen…I hope concerned communities take more effort in spreading awareness on those who visit such holy places..Also I hope government takes more effort on crowd management, providing facilities and in cases of necessity, disaster management..Human life is more worthy than to be lost over such incidents..

P.S :

Peace and serenity doesn’t come by visiting pilgrimages, but found within ourselves,as our own doings and thoughts..
