Why balme Hamas when it was Isreal who broke the truce..

Till now,I was following an ostrich way of escapism by not talking about Israel-Palestine conflict..Though I read this news a few days ago,I didn’t bother to post it as I thought most of you wouldn’t care for it as this conflict is always seen as a case of Islamic terrorism.I don’t want to change your stereotyping and prejudice..Keep believing that the world is yellow, please don’t recall that it is you who is wearing yellow glasses..

I laugh and pity at people who comment passionately on newspaper comment areas..Nevermind,they are not going to change anyway..

I observe people mourning, ahem well that includes Mr Obama too when he defends Israel :

Obama said that if rockets were being fired at his home while his two daughters were sleeping, he would do everything he could to prevent it[]

So everybody is sad that poor Israel is suffering bcoz Hamas is firing rockets into ‘its’ territory.Read this..Oh well, its an old news, that happened in November.

“Six months ago Israel asked and received a cease-fire from Hamas. It unilaterally violated it when it blew up a tunnel.A four-month ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian militants in Gaza was in jeopardy today after Israeli troops killed six Hamas gunmen in a raid into the territory.Israeli troops crossed into the Gaza Strip late last night near the town of Deir al-Balah.

And oh,now I am going to be blamed of spreading propaganda and conspiracy..I never knew that Guardian and NewYorkTimes and  Haaretz  and UN Spokespersonstarted spreading muslim propaganda..I am no fan of Hamas or Fatah..But I am a human being with eyes, ears and a heart.

Israel never denied they broke the ceasefire. Only the israeli apologetics do. They only justified it by saying that the tunnel was a threat to their security. However, there was no provocation from Hamas before that Israeli incursion. Tunnels were the only way the Palestinians were breaking the Israeli blockade to smuggle food, medicine and other necessities to Gaza. Israel had a tight siege on Gaza for most of the time during the ceasefire, which by itself was a violation of the terms of the ceasefire. The Israelis allowed supplies into Gaza only after the air strikes on Saturday to reduce the reputation fallout because of the civilian casualties. The Palestinians are also entitled to self defense. If you do not want to surrender to Israeli intimidation, what would you do if you were a Palestinian?

None of the rockets fired between June 19th and December 3rd (when Israel broke the ceasefire) were fired by Hamas. The majority of the few rockets that were fired during that period, were fired by Fatah (AksaMartyrs Brigades), which is a group that is led by Palestinian president Abbas to sabotage the ceasefire with Hamas and give Israel an excuse to retaliate. Abbas is a US/Israel puppet. None of these rockets caused Israeli casualties and did very little damage. Check this Wikipedia link for a list of all rocket attacks in 2008.

Severed cable disrupts web access

Reports from the Mediterranean indicate that two of the undersea cables severed and repaired earlier this year have been cut again, disrupting internet access and phone service between the Middle East, Europe, and parts of Asia. An additional third cable is down in the same region.

The cuts are causing traffic to be re-routed through the United States and elsewhere.

Egypt’s communications ministry tells the Associated Press that the outage has almost completely killed internet services throughout Egypt.

A second report indicates that the three cables that are out include the SEA-ME-WE 4 cable (also known as SMW4), which went out at 7:28 a.m. local time Friday morning; SEA-ME-WE 3, which went down at 7:33 a.m.; and the FLAG EA cable, which went out at 8:06 a.m. The cables were cut in the region where they run under the sea between Egypt and Italy. They carry an estimated 90 percent of all data traffic between Europe and the Middle East. SMW 3 and SMW 4 are owned by groups of phone companies; FLAG is owned by Reliance Globalcom.

The SMW 4 and FLAG cables were among five undersea cables damaged earlier this year in January and February in the Mediterranean, launching a flurry of conspiracy theories before investigations revealed that at least one of the cuts was caused by a ship’s anchor. When those cables went down, SMW 3 was used to re-route traffic. But this time, SMW 3 is reportedly involved in the outage as well.

A France Telecom report listed 14 countries affected by the current problem. The Maldives are 100 percent down, followed by India, which has 82 percent disruption. Qatar, Djibouti and the United Arab Emirates were the next most widely affected areas with about 70 percent service interrupted. Disruptions for Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan range from 51 percent to 55 percent.[source]

This is not a petty internet cable, but are a major link for internet and phone traffic between Europe and the Middle East and Asia.I needn’t rant on what information-ON TIME-means in today’s world.I wonder why such an important network or cable of high priority is vulnerable to breakdowns for reasons,as silly as ship’s anchor or storms..err,and of course unknown obscure reasons.

When it happened the last time, there were four cable cuts. The first two affected India, Pakistan, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The third one is between the UAE and Oman. The fourth one connected Qatar and the UAE. This one may not have been cut, but taken offline due to power issues.

The first three have been blamed on ships’ anchors, but there is some dispute about that. There were lot of conspiracy theories then.India is no more a ‘just another third world nation’..We handle a major percentage of e-business and to us,.If BPO centers are unable to deliver service,ON TIME,there is hell lot of economic and monetary implications involved.. Time is money. The last time this happened, IT-enabled services in India had suffered, and its the time this time too..And in regard to the effects of this network blackout in Middle east,an article refers to US-Israel conspiracy .

“The area is also marked on maps as a no-go zone and it is therefore ruled out that the damage to the cables was caused by ships,” a statement from Egypt’s communications ministry said.

An official at FLAG, an India-based company that owns two of the severed cables, called the timing “a coincidence” and said he wouldn’t “get into conspiracy theories.”

The timing, location and dramatic aftermath of the cable cuttings have led to murmurs of Western conspiracies to deprive Iran of Internet access or to allow American spies to monitor e-mail sent from the Islamic world..[source]

Whatever be the reason,I hope better sense prevails among those who manage this.To me,its just that I can’t browse newspapers and my blog,so it doesn’t matter as to “How is this gonna affect me and Why am I bothered”.But it may not be of same priority to business firms..and not to forget the breach of security.

Good day

I just realized that there was/is hell lot of discussion going on in regard to this.Google the query if interested. As of now,I am feeling dizzy reading all that.

Muslims hate Jews??????????

In a display of crass insensitivity as well as an enduring sign that the government continues to pander to the politics of the Muslim-Jew divide, minister of state for external affairs E Ahamed did not mention the Nariman House attack in his statement to the UN Security Council last week. And this from an India which officially maintains that terror has no religion and all victims are equal. But was Ahamed’s omission of the Jewish house in his speech a function of the utterly improbable relationship that India enjoys with Israel or was it a function of the fact that the government didn’t want to “anger” Muslims by sympathising with the Jews. Sources said it could be both.[more..]

What a load of bullshit..Aren’t Jews human beings..And who the hell told the government that all muslims hate Jews uh?It is a fact that s some muslims who hate Jews ,some for a reason, some for no reason at all..The same hold true viceversa..But it is portrayed as if Jews and Muslims are enemies for eternity. And sadly some muslims/jews add  oil to this fire by stereotyping the other group.

Wonder if they really knew what Judaism and Zionism really meant.. In the words of Rabbi Weiss, Associate Rabbi at Neturei Karta International and Lecturer on Zionism, Judaism is a Godliness, Zionism is materialism. Zionists try to clothe their materialism in the cloth of religion, but it is false and criminal.  I am not to comment on Zionism as it is too complicated an issue. Not all Jews are Zionists.Original orthodox Jews are against Zionism.Even in case of hating a Zionist,I think it is never ending vicious cycle. The whole episode of God’s promised land, people who lived there fighting back etc etc etc..Its been six decades..I hope and pray that people learn to live in peace and co-operation,rather than killing 5 Jews and getting 50 Palastenians killed..

Moreover,I have seen some muslims hating Jews (remember, the viceversa too happens) for no reason.I hope the realize their mistake as it is not right for a Muslim  tp dislike others for their religion or race or other factors. To a Muslim, religious belief must come out of a person’s free choice, as God has also commanded not to use any kind of coercion in the matter of religion:

  • Let there be no compulsion in religion, truth stands out clear from error.(Al-Baqarah 2:256)

It is the conviction of a religion’s adherents, not the compulsion they can impose on others, that establishes its moral force on earth. This was a principle evident in the life and practice of the Prophet Muhammed peace be on him) as well as the Constitution of Madinah which he drew up with the multi-religious community of Madinah. This document guaranteed the freedom of worship to all religious communities. This was the spirit of the Qur’an that shines into the hearts of all its perceptive readers: the spirit of tolerance and understanding. Allah says in the Qur’an that He has made people into nations and tribes so that they can know and deal with each other in an equal temper of kindness and generosity:

  • O humankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know and deal with each other in kindness (not that you may despise each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of God (is he who is) the most righteous of you, and God is Knower, Aware. (Al-Hujurat 49:13)

The above verse emphasizes the point that in Islam there is no place for intolerance, prejudice, or bigotry based on color, race, nationality or any such considerations. This all-encompassing tolerance of Islam applies to all elements of life and all affairs of Muslims.

The Muslim’s acceptance of the Jews and Christians (referred to in the Qur’an as People of the Book) as authentic religious communities is made clear:

  • And dispute not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong and injury. (Al-`Ankabut 29:46).

This verse tells Muslims that they should take all measures to avoid dispute, anger or other negative feelings between themselves and others.

What we see today is something political and religion has nothing to do with it. It is a shame that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has brought what was a centuries-long peaceful coexistence and appreciation of one another’s faiths between Jews and Muslims to an end. Needless to say, not all Muslims make this unfortunate tie-in, though many do.When a Muslim points fingers at a Jewish person just because they are Jewish, that Muslim is being hypocritical. We have issues when others point fingers at us saying “You guys flew planes into WTC and crashed it”.. Stereotyping will do no good in the long run. It wasn’t the entire race of Jews who made Israel, it was a group people who happened to have the Jewish faith.

Whatever,I wish Mr Ahmed hadn’t behaved immature and instead,He should have visited and consoled the relatives of those Jews who passed away in Mumbai terror attacks. That would have made a lot of difference and would have sparked some debates in the positive direction and helped to erase the stereotyping and prejudice among communities..but alaas, nobody is interested in uniting people..Its all the ‘Divide and Rule’ drama..All they want to to keep up the ‘hate’ spirit.Jews or Jains or Buddhists are Muslims, they are just human beings, with the same colour of blood running inside you and me.I apologize to those Jews on my community’s behalf and I pray that your relatives’ souls rest in peace and may you be able to come out of the sorrow as soon as possible..

Good day to all..

A quote

Let me ask you this: If a lot of foreigners moved into your country and then, instead of living peacefully among you, took over the government, forced you out of your homes, cut most of the water going to you, gave you no voice in the government, searched you whenever you entered a house of worship, humiliated you in numerous ways, threatened you with guns and tanks, and so on, wouldn’t you—the original residents—be angry and fight back in any way you could? And if those foreigners who took over happened to be of a different religion than the original residents, would the fighting be because of the religious differences? Possibly, but not necessarily. Remember that in the case of Palestinians, not all of them are Muslims.
