Saina Nehwal..the new icon

Sania -mania has faded away.I pray that the same won’t happen with Saina Nehwal..Saina Nehwal won the Singapore Open Super Series.. Congragulations , on behalf of all 1180166000 Indians ..

Let us all not over hype and thus spoil her career. Sania Mirza seemed more interested in glamour-world than in badminton.Well, its her choice, but it is sad that she could not live up to the expectations, she herself put forward. I am thankful to Sania Mirza that she created the trend of having icons apart from carzy cricket. I just hope that media keeps giving Saina Nehwal, the little attention as of now,so that she can reach more heights.Let she be glad that she is not getting the same media attention,as  did Sania Mirza. Good luck Saina Nehwal.. India is proud of you..

Her highest career ranking is 5.[1]

Honestly speaking,I just knew that Sania Mirza is a tennis player and Saina Nehwal is a badminton player..I thought they both played the same game

.

.

.

p.s: I read that somebody is making film on Sania Mirza’s life, her marriage etc etc..Leave her alone dudes..Its’ not her problem that she happenend to be beautiful and thus sensational.Stop fishing in murky water..

Why do you think meida is not that interested in Saina,as they were with Sania?

Difference between badminton and tennis: http://www.badminton-information.com/similarities_between_tennis_and_badminton.html

  1. I like this girl.. she really does well in Matches and never gets into any kind of non-sense… 🙂

She will become No.1 for sure and will make our nation proud 🙂

  2. And you are back to your old theme.. its nice 😀 😀

    • You remember my old theme!!! Thanks..I was waiting for somebody to comment on theme change..

  3. Thats a huge milestone indeed for Saina Nehwal. I just hope she doesnt get carried away by her achievements and go the Sania way.

I really like the way Saina handles media and all the attention she gets, she comes across as very humble and grounded and a woman of few words :). I’ve never felt she is bothered about getting less attention than Sania. She is, apparently, even misinterpreted for Sania because of their similar-sounding names, but she has hardly been affected by it. Maybe its because she’d rather let her prowess on court speak for itself. Like you said, let her be glad she is not getting as much media attention as Sania is.

    • Yeah, let us hope that she will continue to remain the down to earth kinda-person…Yes Deeps, name are really confusing when we hear news…Let us wish her good luck

  4. An Indian who would make everyone proud! She deserved that Olympic medal too… but there is always a next Olympics. When you read that she used to wake up at 5 in the morning to go to practise sessions by 6 everyday to a place which was far away from home and that too from a very young age, you realise how lazy you have been right from childhood!!! 🙂 I like her no-nonsense attitude.

    • 🙂 People who amke it big in their life, are the ones who worked hard for it..**sigh** I never worked hard as much as i could ,in whatever I am doing…

Sania Mirza as you said was more interested in glamour and in the end could not handle herself….

well one cant accept in its enterity..since Sania had her own weakness.service etc….and to me she did play with her strength ie forehand and with crowd support she achieved what she could…

I think we have our own – over expectation… and one cant blame Sania for that….

At the end of the day , it is her life…..to me she has used her position well…..

For your query , why Media is not interetsed in Saina – if you expect an answer she is not as sexy as Sania..no it isn not..Media try to project both of them as sexy….

but since tennis has got its own attention even without sania and the fact is live coverage of most grandslams are taking place already..so Sania was more visible and her attraction brought people more….

BUt badminton is watched less…but for prakash padukone this game would have long forgotten…

For GODSAKE why are you bringing cricket into all this……
Its like saying , i dont know why all the people are following Sharuk Khan and Amitabh ..why cant they admire Dino Moria…

    • 🙂 Oh,you are a cricket -lunatic… No offense meant ok,just kidding..

I used to love cricket..So,these days, any news that puts down cricket, including IPL scam makes me happy 😉

Yes,badminton seems to be less watched game(from what I read) and hence less popular… I neither watch tennis, nor badminton)

Don’t bring Dino Moria into this,I don’t like him too :twisted”

by the way i am expecting your blog on UK banning Zakir Naik ?

  5. I just hope she doesnt go the Sania way…even though she has appeared in a fashion show recently, I just hope badminton remains her first priority.

  6. Saina Nehwal is just a step away from realising her goal of becoming the world’s numero uno player. Go sania go
